The Play-Way story
The dream of one man.
Tinus Marx a well known face in the insurance world. A man known and loved by many people not just in Rustenburg. He had a dream to build a school, to help children gain an education. In 2002 his dream became a reality and he opened the doors to the school we have now.
He found joy in coming to work everyday greeting the children and watching them learn. He would come in to sweep the gardens fix little things that broke around the school.
Tinus Marx was and is still an inspiration to the teachers of Play-Way. His wife Esther Marx is carrying on with his legacy and his dream. We will always remember him as the person that made the children and teachers smile on days that seemed very hard.

Principal's Message
Welcome to Play-Way Learning Centre! As the principal, I am thrilled to welcome you to our school community. At Play-Way, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academics but also emphasizes character development, creativity, and teamwork. Our dedicated team of educators and staff work tirelessly to ensure that every student receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive.

Mission
Play-Way Learning Centre was founded in 2002 by Mr. and Mrs. Marx. Their vision was to offer school aged pupils a well-rounded education based on Christian values. This vision has not changed in the years since we opened our doors.
Our goal is to develop the potential of each pupil. In order to achieve this, it is Play-Way’s policy to expose our students to the various disciplines offered by the School: sportsmanship and culture. The School views each of these inherently important.
Although academic achievement is of utmost importance, we believe that sportsmanship and cultural involvement is as important. We encourage learners to participate in all areas of school events. Play-Way prides itself on developing the individuality of its children.
Our classrooms are small numbers to ensure that no learners are left behind. This allows learners to build their self-esteem and be the best that they can be.
Play-Way Learning Centre accepts all learners regardless of their race or creed.
